Fast-Track Visa Program for 2026 World Cup USA Unveiled

“`html

The Trump administration has introduced a new fast-track visa initiative for international visitors attending the 2026 World Cup. Called the “Fifa Pass,” this program will prioritize visa interviews for ticket holders who purchased through Fifa, aiming to accommodate the expected surge in global visitors while maintaining the current immigration policies.

World Cup ticket holders can schedule expedited visa appointments using a special Fifa portal. “If you have a ticket for the World Cup, you can have prioritised appointments to get your visa,” said Fifa President Gianni Infantino at a White House meeting with President Trump.

President Trump urged travelers to apply for visas immediately. Secretary of State Marco Rubio explained that over 400 additional consular officers have been deployed globally, allowing 80% of applicants to get appointments within 60 days. He emphasized that while the process is faster, standard vetting remains in place.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 104 matches hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Despite the initiative, the State Department has continued strict visa enforcement policies. Since January 20, 2025, around 80,000 non-immigrant visas have been revoked due to various offenses, including DUI, assault, and theft.

Other visa cancellations have involved students overstaying, legal violations, and even social media posts. According to Rubio, visas of individuals with activities opposing U.S. foreign policies have also been revoked. Diplomats have been instructed to scrutinize visa applicants linked to political activism or potential hostility toward the U.S.
