US Investor Advocates Ending H-1B Program for International Professionals

James Fishback, former adviser to Dogecoin and associate of Elon Musk, has voiced strong opinions on U.S. immigration policies, particularly the H-1B visa program. During a recent interview, Fishback expressed his belief that the United States should stop hiring foreign workers entirely. He argued that American students are increasingly worried about top tech companies like Google, Amazon, Meta, and Apple preferring foreign talent, especially from India and China, over domestic candidates.

Fishback, who is also the CEO of Azoria, claimed that despite having enough skilled American workers, companies are not actively seeking them. Instead, he accused firms of deliberately making job listings hard to find, thereby justifying the hiring of foreign employees over Americans.

“I don’t support legal immigration,” Fishback stated firmly. He claimed that while legal immigration may seem beneficial, it isn’t necessary for America’s success. He called for a full moratorium on immigration, arguing that the U.S. is already rich in talent and potential. In his view, American opportunities should be reserved for Americans who are underemployed and overlooked.

He also addressed foreign workers aspiring to come to the U.S., saying, “We admire your passion, but your home countries need you.” Fishback emphasized the importance of individuals staying in their native countries and contributing to their growth instead of migrating to the U.S.

In his closing remarks, Fishback called the H-1B visa program a “scam,” accusing companies of bypassing qualified Americans. He urged action to dismantle the system, stating it denies deserving Americans the jobs, pay, and dignity they deserve.
