You’re invited to a lunchtime forum focusing on Indian Ocean History, hosted by the History Department. This engaging session will take place in the Ranglas Room, RWAC 0935. The forum will feature a discussion led by the conveners on Isabel Homeyi’s work titled “The Complicating Sea: The Indian Ocean as Method,” originally published in 2012. This piece explores the Indian Ocean as a lens for understanding broader historical and cultural exchanges across South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
