Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently acknowledged the significant contributions of skilled Indian professionals to the United States. Speaking with Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Zerodha, on a podcast released on Sunday, Musk highlighted how the U.S. has greatly benefited from the arrival of talented individuals from India over the years.
During their conversation, Kamath pointed out that America has long attracted intelligent individuals from across the globe, causing what is often referred to in India as a “brain drain.” He mentioned the growing influence of Indian-origin CEOs in leading global companies as a testament to this trend.
In agreement, Musk emphasized that the influx of Indian talent has played a major role in the advancement of America, especially in areas such as technology and innovation. He noted, “Yes, I think America has benefitted immensely from talented Indians that have come to America.”
