Discover Why Dallas is the Most Indian Place in America

Dallas, Texas is being dubbed the most “Indian” city in America after a viral video by influencer Harry, known as Pigeon Vizion, showcased Indian restaurants, grocery stores, and lounges across the city. The clip, which has received over 32,000 likes and 2,500 comments, highlights local establishments like India Cash and Carry, Pakoda Indian Eatery, and Urban Tadka. In the video, Harry and his friend humorously discuss their craving for Indian food after returning from Mexico.

The video sparked mixed reactions online. Some praised the thriving Indian community and its contribution to American multiculturalism, while others stated that every U.S. city features diverse ethnic neighborhoods, including areas dedicated to Italian, Chinese, Latin, and other communities. Comments also pointed out that places like Fremont, California, and Toronto feature similar Indian cultural hubs.

According to a 2025 study analyzing U.S. Census Bureau and American Community Survey data, about 5.2 million people of Indian origin live in the United States, making Indian-Americans the second-largest Asian group in the country. Naturally, neighborhoods filled with Indian shops, food, and fashion have emerged across the nation. These serve both the community’s needs and provide business opportunities for Indian-American entrepreneurs, bringing their culture to new shores.

Dallas has now become a standout example of this cultural trend, reflecting the broader Indian presence across America’s urban landscape.
